Clipper Street Residence by Envelopes Victorian duplex + AD
Clipper Street Residence is a redesign of the Envelope + AD Victorian duplex in rags, mobile rooms – in San Francisco Noe Valley neighborhood. All partitions on the second flat removed to take advantage of natural light and openness. Lower level into a creative studio while the second level is developed into the kitchen / living / dining room. Floors and ceilings were peeled back to the rough surface, revealing volumes peaked roof with ties to the collar of rough-sawn lumber and timber from under the red roof. The original subfloor area of Douglas fir and left raw patched.[Via]
